Lectures
  • One-hour weekly course (1 credit) based on lectures by guest entrepreneurs
  • The guest lecturers come from industry, government and municipal fields and will convey various aspects of the entrepreneurial process
  • You can get a taste of the field to see if you too have contracted the “Entrepreneurship Bug”.
  • Date: 1st + 2nd semester 2020, Tuesdays 18:00-19:00.

  • Additional Requirements:  If the course is in an online format, students will be required to have open cameras in class. In case the lesson is recorded – the gallery photos will not be recorded. Failure to open the camera will be considered as absence.

Entrepreneurs and start-ups are at the forefront of human development and are responsible for the great breakthroughs of our lives in the fields of energy, medicine, communications, along with the social fields. The course will include lectures by a number of guest lecturers from the various fields of entrepreneurship. At the end of the course students will understand the basic components of the entrepreneurial process and the characteristics of entrepreneurs. Students will also hear experiences of successful and unsuccessful ventures.

During the course we will review the entrepreneurial process from a number of aspects, such as:

  • Characteristics of the developer
  • What is a good idea? How to perform a feasibility study
  • Business models for start-ups
  • The entrepreneurial process
  • Capital Raising
  • Intellectual Property Protection
  • Social enterprises
  • Representatives of Entrepreneurship Programs and representatives of the Innovation Israel Authority
  • The staff and the founders' agreement

Lecturer: Dr. Moshe Shavit

Lecturer at Braude, TelHai and On Haifa Colleges since 2010 in the fields of marketing, strategy and entrepreneurship.

Moshe is an entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in the fields of entrepreneurship, product development, business development and marketing in the traditional industrial sector and also in high-tech, both in Israel and in the United States.
