The course will teach practical tools for identifying and managing investments (locating companies, due diligence and market research), while gaining an in-depth knowledge of the world of entrepreneurship and its connection to venture capital funds.

As part of the course, students will meet with industry executives in order to get to know the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the north of the country.

The course is led by a fresh.fund venture capital fund. Graduates of the courses taught by fresh.fund today work in venture capital funds and leading companies.

Those who excel in the course will have the opportunity to apply for the position of analyst at the HIL Fund, which is supported by the university.

** The course will require basic proficiency in the English language.

Lecturer: Michal Ner-David

Initiator and part of the investment team of the Fresh.Fund fund. Previously managed WeWork's WeWork Labs program, WeWork's startup program. As part of the role, Michal accompanied over 100 startups from the idea of raising money and developing an initial product. Michal lives in Haifa with her partner and in parallel to her role at Fresh.fund, she is developing her own venture, Sira – a creative space for visual creators that is now open in Haifa.

Lecturer: Nurit Kantarovich

Social entrepreneur and responsible for the activities of the HIL Fund, under the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program (HIL). Currently is a doctoral student at the School of Social Work. Over the years, Nurit has led various programs and social enterprises at the municipal and national level as well as engaged in the development and mobilization of resources. In recent years, Nurit has been coordinating foundations to encourage leadership and social entrepreneurship among students.
