(EdgeUp)
1st Cohort: Summer 2020
About the Venture
The Solution
Adapting and integrating the curriculum and study materials to advanced technology so that it will arouse discussion and curiosity among the students
As part of the "Journey from the Classroom" project, the history study program incorporates the use of VR glasses – in every history lesson in grades 10 to 11, the students will watch VR videos whose mission is to impart knowledge and to raise moral dilemmas. The learning peak will take place at the end of 11th grade, when the students will go through VR for both the preparation for the trip to Poland and for the trip itself
Challenges
Poor motivation to learn about the Holocaust among boys and girls
In about a decade from now, there will be no Holocaust survivors left in Israel and we must ensure that the memory of the Holocaust does not fade
The trip to Poland is expensive and not suitable for everyone, the accessibility of the trip to Poland must be improved
