The goal of the multidisciplinary project is to allow students practical experience in the development process of a product or an innovative idea. Students will come to a project formed around an idea for a project they have started working on at Boot Camp. Students from different departments will come together on the project, under the guidance and support of the lecturer and of professionals from the industry, in accordance with the nature and field of each project.
The final product of each team in the course is a preliminary prototype for an innovative product or service (minimum viable product, MVP). The final product will include a clear definition of: (a) the problem they are trying to solve, (b) the target audience, (c) the project vision, goals, value proposition and solutions, and (d) an initial operating model. Furthermore, the MVP will undergo field verification (by conducting market research and / or focus groups among the target audience and / or establishing initial collaborations) and feasibility testing (financially and, if necessary, also technologically).
At the end of the course, the students will present the projects, as part of an official event in which representatives from the university as well as representatives from the industry will participate.
Teams with a solid idea will be encouraged to apply for funding from the university's student funding fund or other bodies (eg, the Innovation Authority).
