Course Description

Challenge 2 Innovation is an immersive program based on the Challenge Driven Innovation (CDI) methodology, designed to transform real-world challenges into breakthrough solutions. Participants work in multidisciplinary teams, guided by expert mentors, to analyze complex problems, uncover hidden opportunities, and prototype innovative solutions. Through hands-on workshops, design thinking techniques, and applied research, the course equips students, entrepreneurs, and professionals with the skills to navigate uncertainty, create meaningful impact, and turn bold ideas into reality.

The theoretical component of the program integrates professional and academic knowledge on entrepreneurship and innovation, healthcare system challenges, and essential soft skills. This content is delivered by the program team, guest lecturers from academia, industry experts, and experienced entrepreneurs.

In the practical component, participants work in diverse, multidisciplinary teams to develop and test solutions for real healthcare system challenges raised by program partners and to incubate new ventures. This process includes challenge-based learning, ideation, and field validation of solutions. Leading teams may even advance to developing a prototype for their venture. The practical phase is supported by both process and domain mentors from academia and the entrepreneurial ecosystem, tailored to the needs of each team.
